HTC FLYER: Review



The HTC Flyer is very slim and slick table, the body is made from special aluminum with right choice of plastic makes HTC Flyer a best looking tablet among all other tablet in market. The design was very good, with all the perfect buttons and behavior which makes this tablet a user-friendly. The 7-inch with 1024-600 pixel of screen complete this tablet, screen has been made from the latest technology that gives it’s scratch & finger print resistance. Its Power by Qualcomm’s Snapgragon MSM8255T (ARM v7) single core power full processor with 1 GB of ram & 1.5 ghz speed makes it never hang.

This, coupled with HTC’s Sense UI 2.1, makes for a very good user experience. The interface was very slick, integrated with fancy animations all over the place. This tablet comes with the new shortcut bar, similar to the Icon Dock in apple iOS, gives user a quick access to most used apps irrespective of which home screen user are on. The notification bar is now also divided into four sections, notifications like alerts, ten most recently used apps, Quick Settings, and new messages. The default keyboard come with the android version is very comfortable to use, with good spacing between the keys even in portrait mode. The HTC Flyer employs a portable which runs with AAAA battery, you can use it virtually anywhere other than the locked screen. The biggest feature of this tablet is that it’s comes with 32 GB built-in internal memory, but user can actual storage is only about 19 GB. Video formats like 3GP, MP4, WMV, AVI and XVID are supported with the video player, but surprisingly, the default player wasn’t able to play SD files smoothly, so user should advice to install any other video played for it.

The HTC music player is specially redesigned for the larger screen support, and supports SRS sound enhancement along with some equalizer presets. With the pair of earphones, music sounds produces really good, with quality bass and clear mids and highs. HTC has only launched the 3G version in India. While standard Google apps are preloaded, the HTC Hub is always ready for your HTC device lets you download additional apps. The default browser does a good job of rendering Web pages & other, which look really awesome on the this tablet screen. There is an additional feature which help send and receive messages via the Flyer that why its name as HTC Flyer, but phone calls not available with its tablet, but user can call via additional app like skype ,wechat, line, etc. 

The camera of this tablet completes its feature, as 5 Mp devoted with hd shoot mode Excellent for outdoor shooting, but the worst part is that it don’t have inbuilt flash so indoor is not very good, but thanks to smart auto-focus feature which solves the worst part of it. The HTC flyer supports 720p recording with 30 fps speed. The HTC flyer rate high than Rs 39,890 in india. Picking up is not good choice as you can spend some more money and can buy ipad 2 0r Motorola Xoom which are powerful and comes with more feature.
